2008 Elections for the Board of Directors

Region 9
CA, Guam, HI, NV

The National Council is holding elections to fill one seat in Region 9.

There are two directors from each region serving on the National Council Board of Directors. Kitty Mason from Catholic Charities of San Jose (CA) has served two terms as a regional representative to the Board and chair of the Nominating Committee, and is ineligible for re-election. Kitty has been an outstanding leader on the Board and we are sad to lose her. Elections are being held to fill this seat.

The other director from Region 9 and chair of the Regional Nominating Committee is Mary Hargrave, River Oak Center for Children (Carmichael, CA), mhargrave@riveroak.org.

Per the National Council bylaws, the two directors from each region shall be affiliated with National Council voting members and should be, but are not required to be, located in different states within the respective region.
