2008 Elections for the Board of Directors

Region 8
AZ, CO, MT, ND, SD, UT, WY

The National Council is holding elections to fill one seat in Region 8.

There are two directors from each region serving on the National Council Board of Directors. Dr. Carl Clark from the Mental Health Center of Denver (CO), has served two terms as a regional representative to the Board, and is ineligible for re-election. Carl will remain on the Board, though, having recently been elected as Second Vice Chair. Elections are being held to fill this seat.

The other director from Region 8 and chair of the Regional Nominating Committee is Neal Cash, Community Partnership of Southern Arizona (Tucson, AZ), neal.cash@cpsa-rbha.org.

Per the National Council bylaws, the two directors from each region shall be affiliated with National Council voting members and should be, but are not required to be, located in different states within the respective region.
