2008 Elections for the Board of Directors

Region 2
NJ, NY, PR, VI

The National Council is holding elections to fill one seat in Region 2.

There are two directors from each region serving on the National Council Board of Directors. Joe Masciandaro from CarePlus NJ (Paramus, NJ), has served two terms as a regional representative to the Board, and is ineligible for re-election. Joe has been an outstanding leader on the Board and we are sad to lose him. Elections are being held to fill this seat.

The other director from Region 2 and chair of the Regional Nominating Committee is Maureen Stankowitz, Community Board Member, Preferred Behaviorial Health of New Jersey (Lakewood, NJ), maureen@mylakewoodchamber.com.

Per the National Council bylaws, the two directors from each region shall be affiliated with National Council voting members and should be, but are not required to be, located in different states within the respective region.
